I made this image on a country roadside, just outside my ancestral town of Palombara Sabina, about an hour outside of Rome. I traveled there to connect with my family history. When I found this book, it felt like reading my history in the landscape. This is an archival pigment print on gorgeous, archival, acid-free matte fine-art paper.
